Following on from the successes of the first 93 FEET EAST DOUBLE CD COMPILATION and the debut singles/album of producer Paul Epworth’s LOMAX (all releases available in the 93 Records shop), we are delighted to announce that we will soon be able to offer digital downloads of our current releases, together with downloads showcasing new acts and bands that will be playing and have played at 93Live.

Offering a unique platform for the diverse acts that perform at 93LIVE

93LIVE regularly offers Live events in our Main music hall Monday to Thursday, coupled by live events incorporated into our weekend club events. Our 90 Free Mondays are a platform for both unsigned and new acts, whilst our higher profile gigs throughout the week also offer the opportunity to help bands to progress.

If you would be interested in showcasing your songs on the 93 Records website please submit a demo and a short biog to sean@93feeteast.co.uk

Exclusively available through the 93 Records website is the now legendary PHONES (Paul Epworth) remix of Lomax's 'Modern Life'Paul Epworth has become an Uber producer over the past twelve months, getting behind the controls on some of the most well received releases of 2005.  Bloc Party, The Rakes, White Rose Movement, Maximo Park and The Futureheads (who've all played 93Live) have been given the Epworth treatment and his earlier work can be found in the 93 Records shop (Including all of Lomax's releases featuring Paul Epworth on writing, playing and producing credits).  Angular post punk at it's finest.

THIS MONTH’S TOP DEMO’S...

MARCH 2006

KICKS
Reading based five piece KICKS went down a storm at 93 last month and considering they only formed 12 months ago.
The band and have recently been recording with legendary producer Arthur Baker (New Order, Interpol, Ash, Ian Brown, U2) at Mute Studio, and the songs they have delivered form these sessions a real treat for fans of epic & soaring indie classics.

ATTACK SWITCH ATTACK
A three piece band who continue to thrill audiences with their stabs of angular guitar, pounding bass, stomping drums and sharp vocals.  Whilst receiving high acclaim from Artrocker, Rock 'n' Roll Cinema and Stool Pigeon, we’re still surprised there’s no web site or myspace to showcase songs like Records As Weapons, Control and Rats.

THE FOOTLONG HEROES
Fronted by a 6 foot 7" bully boy bohemian and backed by energetic slices of guitar, a pretty boy spawn of the funkadelic mothership bassist and a thrashing ambidextrous drummer/multi instrumentalist THE FOOTLONG HEROES are turning into one of the East Ends finest bands.  Residents at the now legendary Rock 'n' Roll Cinema, they have a new demo recorded which can be found on the shelves at most subways.

PERICO
Perico write and perform music that has people flummoxed as to how to describe them.....something like a collision between jerky alt-rock and woozy folk-inflected bar-room music, with an array of instrumentation to put most bands to shame.  Falling somewhere between Radiohead, Hope of The States and Tim Buckley.  A headline date here at 93 in February and currently unsigned – mystifying.

EVERYTHING ON BLACK
Having recorded and self-released 4 EPs and played extensively in and around the capita, Everything on Black recently hit the stage at 93 on one of our regular 90 Free Mondays and the press has already had glowing praise too. Great tunes and a front man who can command the crowd" – (Artrocker).  “Already hailed as the next big thing" (Notion)."'Going Down' has hit written all over it" - Gigwise.
